Donations Support the Paralympic committee of Punjab
The Paralympic committee of Punjab(PCP) counts on the financial support of the general public in order to fulfil our vision and mission. We aim to bring sports to as many persons with a disability around the country as possible, in particular youth. Our goal is also to promote the talents and achievements of Paralympic athletes as a showcase for the potential of persons with a disability to be full and active members of society. We are convinced that if the PCP can communicate the inspiration and excitement of the Paralympic Games and Paralympic Sports, we can help break down the barriers of discrimination and exclusion faced by the vast majority of the persons with a disability around the world. Your kind donation will be used by the PCP to support programmes in a number of areas, including: - Grass-root activities to provide equipment, facilities and training to athletes with a disability, in particular young athletes.
- The provision of high-quality sporting opportunities for Paralympic athletes in various sports and in all disability groups
- Education projects in schools to promote the benefits of sports, as well as to teach children about the rights and potential of persons with a disability
- Communication campaigns to disseminate the positive values and messages of the Paralympic Movement to as large audience as possible
- Research projects to find innovative ways to increase participation in Paralympic sports, especially by athletes with high support needs
